I’m So Glad You’re Here.
What is Healing with Abri?
Peer Somatic Coaching to Support Abri is currently a somatic psychotherapist in training. She specializes in working with patients with IBD and chronic pain.
Abri fundamentally believes that there is nothing to fix within all of us and that cultivating compassionate relationships with our own body is imperative for healing. Abri’s coaching approach draws from the following modalities:
Somatic Psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Polyvagal Theory and Mindfulness
Attachment and Relational Trauma Healing
This coaching experience is different from cognitive behavioral therapy as it is focused on nervous system regulation, and cultivating acceptance and mindfulness surrounding living with chronic pain and illness.
Abri is currently training to become a somatic pyschotherapist at Antioch University. She has attended trainings with the Polyvagal Institute and Bessel Van Der Kolk and is committed to continuing trainings surrounding nervous system regulation and trauma-informed care. Abri formerly worked as an associate to a Partner at New Theory Ventures - a VC fund investing in and incubating female owned companies with a social mission. Prior to working in VC, Abri was Gloria Steinem’s assistant and ran corporate partnerships for Gloria’s charitable initiatives.
Abri plays music (guitar and vocals) for yoga studios as a side gig. Abri’s assistant Moo (her adorable mini cavapoo pup) is horrible at scheduling but she refuses to fire him because he’s the light of her life.
Make it stand out.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

“Just keep coming home to yourself, you are the one who you’ve been waiting for.”
